2/3 shadow color study

 
went out Thanksgiving morning and found this little beauty in an old neighborhood in a small eastern nc town.a classic example of a painting being either 2/3 in light or 2/3 in shadow.

    That's gorgeous. The little places where the light hits makes the painting.

    thanks marla. i love slivers of light in a mostly midvalue painting with lots of cooler shapes. makes the light glow!
