Hello Mike, I recently found your blog and I just want you to know I check it habitually to see your new work. When I first found it I spent a couple of days looking at every post. I am a true fan. I didn't read everything but from time to time I go back and read a little more. I appreciate the tips, stories, etc. Your most recent work is amazing. Todays post is incredible. You are a true inspiration and I appreciate your blog. I have taught art for 27 years after receiving a B.A. in Fines Arts from USF in Tampa, FL. I am drawn to your work, style, voice because I to love the tropics. Thank you for sharing your work. I look forward to seeing your work in person one day.

thanks for the really kind words, I appreciate it. my love for the keys I think translates to the canvas, or I hope so anyway.
email me if you ever get to key west in the winter.

Love the light on the building in this one! Love that light you only get in the tropics!

Hello Mike, I will keep that in mind and email you when you are in the Keys in the Winter. How much is your workshop price? I would like to plan to possibly participate in one if you do a workshop in the Keys next year. Thanks!
