Marina from Bay St.-9x12

Was on my second full day of driving back home from florida, going up 95 n. from Savannah this morning and thought i'd like to drive east about 45 minutes to Beaufort SC and paint on Bay St. Its absolutely beautiful there with tons of boats and great old houses ala savannah or charleston. here's what i ended up with. i'm back in NC tonite, already missing the keys.

Another beautiful painting. You can really capture the light. The reflections in the water are also nice.

thanks linda. water's one of my fave things to paint. it can change the way it looks ten times in a painting session. the wind blowing and clouds going by overhead, is what changes it.

steve- was there two months and couldnt think of one reason why i wouldnt want to stay there permanently. lots of water, warmth, and a cool vibe!
berlin sent me the brochure she made for the workshop. its a done deal! see you there in october

steve- she's tentative talking about running it by a board, etc etc. she's inquisitive about the berlin one too! if we do it in OC it'll have to be 2011.... ive got two more possible in the outer banks and then my dance card's full for 2010. ive gotta paint
SOME for these 12 galleries i've got to keep stuff in LOL
today was almost 70 and sunny here in NC today. wasnt missing summerland key too bad today LOL

70 here today as well, but I couldn't find turquoise water or palm trees anywhere.
They should'a jumped early when they had first shot-maybe they can make a decision before next spring LOL.
