A working boat from the docks on the New River in Sneads Ferry. Fall afternoon light is fun to paint. its a little crisper (ie. less atmosheric) and of course another upside-youre not sweating a bucket and swatting misquitos every minute.

Oh man, the painting machine fires off another beauty! This is a nice one, Mike. You've captured that afternoon light perfectly. However, don't you think that the heat and mosquitoes add a certain quality to painting outside? Seriously, I agree that this is good painting weather! All the best to you.

i should charge less for paintings done in the fall. the customer is not getting a painting chock full of misquitos, black flies, and gnats drenched in my sweat stuck in the paint LOL
